Shunting jacks - powerful, precise, indispensable

Whether for changing tyres, for maintenance work or for smaller repairs: A manoeuvring jack is part of the basic equipment of every Garage and many private mechanics. It enables you to lift your vehicle safely and efficiently - without effort and with maximum stability.

What is a manoeuvring jack

A manoeuvring jack is a hydraulic lifting tool with Scooters that is pushed under the vehicle. The lever movement via a pump rod compresses oil in the cylinder - this transfers the force to the lifting arm and lifts the vehicle. Thanks to its Scooters, the jack can be easily positioned and later removed again.

How to use a manoeuvring jack correctly

  1. Secure the vehicle. Apply the handbrake and put the vehicle into gear if necessary. Use wheel chocks to prevent the vehicle from rolling away.
  2. Position the Jack. Slide it under a suitable lifting point on the vehicle - this is usually marked in the operating instructions.
  3. Lift the vehicle. Pump evenly with the lever rod until the desired Height is reached. Make sure that the vehicle is stable.
  4. Additional safety. Always use jack stands before working under the vehicle. The Jack alone should never be the only supporting element.
  5. Lowering. Turn the lowering valve slowly to lower the vehicle in a controlled manner.

Our tip: When buying, pay attention to the maximum load capacity, the minimum and maximum lifting height and the quality of the rollers and hydraulic system. This will ensure that your new manoeuvring jack is a perfect fit for your vehicle and your requirements.
