Description
Reliable control at all times – on the racetrack and on the road, thanks to outstanding handling:
The Ventus Evo Z features an asymmetric inner/outer tread pattern that optimally transfers engine power to the road at high speeds. This enables the tyres to provide precise control through stable cornering, high responsiveness and maximum grip at the limit.
Maximum cornering stability – block tilt angle for optimised cornering behaviour:
The deformation of the tread blocks has been minimised and stiffness specifically increased to maximise cornering stability. The block inclination angle of the outer groove, which bears the highest loads during cornering, has been optimised to 30°.
Maximum cornering stability – wide and stable outer blocks:
The transverse grooves, which are deliberately not connected to the main tread grooves, increase the tyre’s contact patch and enhance block stiffness. This ensures stable cornering even at high speeds.
Maximum cornering stability – increased block support:
The transverse grooves are designed to have greater width and depth towards the outside to ensure balanced performance on dry and wet roads. Where the transverse groove begins, there are connecting ribs that interlock the tread blocks. This reduces block movement and improves cornering stability.
Maximum grip through state-of-the-art technology – rubber compound with improved grip:
As the first model in the Hankook Tire range, this tyre utilises a combination of liquid and solid resins. This compound is typically used in racing tyres and has a high softening point, enabling grip at the highest level.
Maximum grip through state-of-the-art technology – aramid hybrid reinforcement belt:
The innovative aramid hybrid-reinforced belt ensures excellent grip and precise handling even under high power and heavy loads. Even at high speeds, the tread pattern remains stable and the contact patch remains maximised, enabling a superb driving experience.
Manufacturer information
EU Tyre Label
The Tyre Labelling Regulation determines the information that must be provided with regard to tyres' fuel efficiency, wet grip and external rolling noise. Information is also provided on the product's performance in wintery driving conditions.
Regulation EU 1222/2009, which has been in force since 01/11/2012, has been revised and will be replaced from 1 May 2021 by Regulation EU 2020/740, from which point new standards will apply. The assessment categories for fuel efficiency, wet grip and external noise have been changed and the layout of the EU label has been changed accordingly. The manufacturers' product data sheets, stored in the EU database, can be downloaded via a QR code integrated into the label. It also includes information on snow grip and ice grip for tyres that meet these criteria.
The following tyres are exempt from the regulation:
- Tyres designed to be fitted only to vehicles registered for the first time before 1 October 1990
- Remoulded tyres (until Regulation EU 2020/740 has been widened accordingly)
- Professional off-road tyres
- Racing tyres
- Tyres with additional devices to improve traction, e.g. studded tyres
- Temporary-use spare tyres (T-type tyres)
- Tyres with a speed rating below 80 km/h
- Tyres with a nominal rim diameter of 254 mm or less and 635 mm or more
