How they work

Runflat tyres have reinforced sidewalls. These ensure that the shape of the tyre remains almost unchanged in the event of a puncture, even if the air pressure has dropped considerably. This means that the next service station can be approached without any problems. According to statistics, every car driver experiences a puncture after 100,000 to 150,000 kilometres or after five to seven years. The causes are usually broken glass, nails or poor road surfaces. This system shows the respective tyre pressure on a display, so the driver always has full control over the tyre pressure.
