Treads with 3D grooves, an optimised groove layout and virtually treadless shoulders are designed for stability and handling with consistently high grip.
Rear tyres: the larger crown tread pattern, combined with an optimised belt construction and groove positioning, improves rear-end behaviour and increases cornering stability.
Advances at the molecular level in the development of the rubber compound improve adhesion and grip for faster and more relaxed cornering.
Rubber compounds comprising 3 layers (Front) and 5 layers (Rear), as well as high-stiffness bead cores, deliver optimal damping and stability.
Front tyre: the smaller crown profile provides a longer contact patch and better pressure distribution for improved handling and greater precision.
The Battlax S21 is the first tyre to benefit from Bridgestone’s new ‘ULTIMATEYE’ indoor test facility, where tyre behaviour at the contact patch is analysed.
