The SPORTMAX Q5A has been manufactured using the latest Japanese technologies. High dry/Wet grip, agile handling and long service life ensure outstanding driving pleasure. An aggressive new tread pattern optimised for sporty riding ensures more consistent power as the tyre wears and offers an exceptional balance between dry and wet grip. Suitable for popular models such as the BMW S1000 R, Ducati Monster, Honda CB1000 R, Kawasaki Ninja Z 650, Suzuki GSX-S 1000 and Triumph Street Triple.

*Multi-Tread™ technology in the front and rear tyres uses a durable centre rubber compound flanked by side rubber compounds, offering riders excellent mileage without compromising handling or grip. The Carbon-R compound in the shoulders has high heat-generating properties and provides exceptional dry grip during sporty riding.

The Hi-Silica-X compound in the centre of the front tyre and the Hi-Silica compound in the centre of the rear tyre offer 175% more silica in the front tyre and 150% more silica in the rear tyre compared to most conventional products, increasing wear resistance and improving wet performance for safe riding in bad weather.

Camber Tuning Technology (C.T.T.) optimises the balance between the front and rear wheels to improve the torque of the front tyre in relation to the rear tyre, resulting in an agile and sporty riding experience.

*The aramid JLB construction at the Front and the Ultra Flexible Steel (UFS) JLB construction at the Rear reduce tyre weight and maximise compliance and comfort, providing exceptional handling and stability, reducing dynamic growth at high speeds and improving linearity.

Impact Parry Technology (IPT) reduces lateral movement while improving longitudinal deformation, allowing the tyres to better absorb bumps and provide more stability at full lean angles.
