Description
With the new Road 5 GT Michelin signals the start of a new era in the touring segment. The tyre has been developed as GT version and has therefore been provided with a reinforced carcass, in order to be used on heavy bikes with high load.
The well-known 2CT front and 2CT+ rear compounds, as well as the tread pattern has remained unvaried since the tyre’s first appearance and still results in high mileage and good grip, especially on wet roads.
The new Michelin Road 5 GT is from now on available as front-wheel in two sizes and as rear-wheel in four sizes. Homologations for the most popular touring motorcycles, such as BMW K 1600 GT, BMW R 1200 RT, Yamaha FJR 1300 or Honda Pan European will be soon available.
