Description
The tyre on offer is an affordable retread winter tyre with directional profile produced in Europe.
Unlike in new tyres, part of the worn tyre is reused in retreads whilst the entire profile is renewed. The tyre substrate must meet high quality demands and the profiles and tread materials must meet highest safety standards.
With retreads the tyres are used for a second time providing an environmental benefit - compared to the production of a new tyre, approximately 70% energy is saved in retreads. Retread tyres must have a type approval in accordance with UN-ECE regulation 108 and 109 and be marked accordingly. At the time of delivery, the same warranty and product liability criteria do, of course, apply to retreads as to new tyres.
