The MICHELIN City Grip Saver offers very low rolling resistance thanks to the new silica-based ‘Electric ready’ materials. These are characterised by very low energy consumption, which means that the battery lasts longer than its predecessor, the MICHELIN City Grip. (1)
Outstanding wet grip
A new silica-based rubber compound and shark's tooth sipes give the tyre excellent grip on wet and slippery surfaces. At the same time, it achieves remarkably short braking distances on wet roads! (2)

(1)Modelling of energy loss between a 100/80 - 14 M/C 48S CITY GRIP SAVER TL and a MICHELIN City Grip on GOGORO S2. Carried out at the Michelin Research Centre in France in July 2018. Battery range is 7% longer with the MICHELIN City Grip Saver.
(2)Comparison at the Michelin test centre in France in November 2018 with a Honda PCX 125 Scooter equipped with a 100/80 - 14 M/C 48S CITY GRIP SAVER TL front tyre and a 110/70 - 13 M/C 54S REINF CITY GRIP SAVER TL rear tyre, compared with a 100/80 - 14 M/C 48P CITY GRIP TL/TT front tyre and a 110/70 - 13 M/C 48P CITY GRIP TL rear tyre. Result of the comparison: The MICHELIN City Grip Saver comes to a stop 4.5 metres earlier than the MICHELIN City Grip.
